Hello, as a Christmas presant, I got the Nine Eagles new Kestrel 500 helicopter. This bird is a beauty to fly, look's very nice and scale-like. It's flybar is at a 45 degree angle which we think is part of it's stability.
Anyway, here are some pic's of the helicopter.
Next to a 1/28 scale Mini-Z Ferrari 355. Kind of a Magnum PI moment isn't it? I know, I know, wrong Ferrari.

Same physical size. So you can see why I want to swap fuselages!

A video of the Kestrel in hover.

Here I am hovering it outside where there's more room.
Not bad, a little breeze makes it a little harder. While it doesn't look all that smooth, it was still a successfull hover!
First few seconds of the video the flight was not so smooth, but I think it improved in the long run.
Yes, it did land safely off camera there.

It's not a bad outdoor helicopter provided it's very calm outside. Slightest bit of breeze seems to effect it. It's much more stable indoores.
